. Patrick is a senior technology leader with over 20 years of experience in cloud-native modernization, cybersecurity, and product commercialization which span both the federal and private sectors. A dual-degree Executive MBA candidate at Cornell University and Queen’s University and founder of SourcePoint Technologies, Patrick specializes in technology strategy, scalable platform design, and dual-use systems that connect enterprise and mission-driven applications.
Grounded in the principles of project leadership and systems design, Patrick applies customer-focused design methodologies to drive strategic innovation and execution. His expertise includes modern software architecture, zero-trust frameworks, and federal proposal development, supported by a proven record of leading multi-organization modernization programs and complex transformation initiatives.
Patrick has led cloud-native and API ecosystem advancements at PowerSchool and Korn Ferry, spearheading microservices adoption, platform unification, and go-to-market innovation across education (EdTech), financial (FinTech), and health (HealthTech) technology sectors. His leadership in dual-use technology development has produced content disarm and reconstruction (CDR) microservices, data-security automation, and multi-tenant event-streaming architectures, each engineered for both national security and commercial applications.
Through SourcePoint Technologies, Patrick has advised clients including USPS, FedEx, and VeriFone on omni-channel fulfillment, digital product management, and real-time sourcing platforms. Andy Page serves as Head of Small Business & Innovation Grants at BridgePoint Labs. Andy is a life sciences technology expert with over 25 years of experience in molecular diagnostics, microbiology, and preanalytical instrumentation. He specializes in the development and commercialization of tools that enable pathogen detection, wastewater-based epidemiology, extracellular vesicle isolation, and other preanalytical needs within the life sciences, and he holds more than 40 awarded patents in these areas.
As co-founder, President, and Chief Technology Officer of InnovaPrep, Andy led multidisciplinary teams in advancing innovative sample-preparation technologies that are now used by research institutes, government agencies, and industry worldwide. He brings deep expertise in product innovation, intellectual property strategy, non-dilutive funding, business development, and technology licensing to support clients in the biotechnology, diagnostics, food safety, and environmental monitoring sectors.

Michael Sable, PhD, MBA
Partner and Head of Commercialization & Go-To-Market
Michael Sable serves as Head of Commercialization and Go-To-Market at BridgePoint Labs. Michael is a Harvard and MIT-trained PhD/MBA with a strong background in technology analysis, artificial intelligence/digital strategy, biotechnology, and sustainability. A National Science Foundation Graduate Research Fellow, he has expertise in venture capital, entrepreneurship, and innovation. He holds PhD and MBA degrees from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology where he focused his studies on entrepreneurship and innovation. His dissertation analyzed the dynamics of innovation in the biopharmaceutical industry. He also holds a Master’s degree in Public Policy from Harvard University’s Kennedy School of Government where his work focused on science and innovation policy.
As a Pfizer Sustainability Fellow, he helped a large, knowledge-intensive organization to understand how to leverage the best practices in sustainability to improve their R&D productivity while lowering their operational costs. He worked closely with Pfizer senior leadership, research scientists and environmental, health and safety personnel to analyze their work processes, identify bottlenecks, and potential to grow as a green brand. Uniquely, he developed strategies to create triple bottom line value in terms of innovation, profits, and environmental well-being.
Michael is a two-time MIT $100K Entrepreneurship Competition semi-finalist. He also writes regularly on a host of emerging technology and venture capital related topics for GoingVC. Michael has worked at an artificial intelligence startup known as Experfy. an online training platform that leverages both blockchain technology and the organization’s capabilities in Big Data and AI. This successful grant application raised $250,000 for Experfy.

Jelena Jeremic, PhD, MBA
Partner and Head of Technology Transfer & International Markets
Jelena Jeremic holds a PhD in Biomedical Engineering and an MBA from GWU, with extensive managerial experience in life science research across academic, non-profit, biotech, and government settings. She graduated from the University of Belgrade and was an International Center for Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology (IMGGE) and European Molecular Biology Lab (EMBL) fellow. She further enriched her knowledge during her nine-year tenure at NIH as a scientist. She brings a broad background and 25 years of experience in basic life sciences and translational research, as well as a technology transfer certificate from NIH, where her work focused on science and innovation policy. Jelena Jeremic's entrepreneurial spirit led her to co-found a drug development start-up, where she currently serves as the Chief Scientist.
With a background that spans academia, government agencies, and pharma, she has developed successful grant applications that have brought over $1 million in funding to her start-up. Her entrepreneurial spirit was recognized when she was a runner-up at the prestigious New Venture GWU Entrepreneurship competition.
Jelena Jeremic's expertise extends beyond the laboratory. She has a proven track record in performing technical and market-based evaluations of DoD technologies to determine their commercial viability and value to the marketplace at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center. Her work in supporting the development of R&D and capacity building at tech transfer resulted in a national Federal Laboratory Consortium (FLC) Award in 2021 for excellence in Technology Transfer.

Deji Akanbi, PhD, PE
Managing Partner at BridgePoint Labs
Dr. Deji Akanbi brings over 20 years of experience spanning academia, national laboratories, industry, intellectual property, and consulting. His career reflects a deep commitment to bridging advanced technology with real-world applications and strategic outcomes.
He holds both a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering and a B.Sc. summa cum laude in Electrical Engineering from Georgia Tech, and is a Licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.). Dr. Akanbi is an inventor with two engineering patents and has held academic roles as Graduate Teaching Assistant and Instructor at Georgia Tech, Adjunct Professor at the University of Houston, and Visiting Professor at Texas Southern University.
His industry experience includes serving as Technology Strategist at Hewlett Packard, where he led product development and management for next-generation cloud computing data centers, and Principal Engineer at Halliburton, leading sensor systems design for oil and gas monitoring.
At Sandia National Laboratories, Dr. Akanbi was Principal Engineer, overseeing the design of complex, interdisciplinary smart ground transportation systems. In the intellectual property space, he served as Lead Patent Engineer and Technology Specialist at Banner & Witcoff, drafting applications for clients such as Comcast (broadband telecom and communications), Nissan (battery charging infrastructure), PerkinElmer (biotechnology & advanced electronics), Allstate Insurance (artificial intelligence), and NTT Docomo (advanced wireless networks, 4G).
In consulting, Dr. Akanbi was Vice President of Engineering at a Consulting Firm, where he led the Advanced Technology Practice and helped research institutions and technology companies secure billions in federal funding by integrating technical innovation, commercialization strategies, workforce development, and intellectual property. Funding was secured across a plurality of key technology focus areas including energy and materials (battery materials and recycling, smart grid, carbon capture, electric vehicles), semiconductors and advanced manufacturing, broadband wireless telecommunications (radio access networks, 5G), and artificial intelligence. He also led strategic partnership initiatives with venture capital, research universities, non-profits, national labs, private equity, technology policy, and law firms.

With a background spanning academia, biotech, and pharma, she has developed successful grant applications, multi-million-dollar fundraising proposals, and investor-facing materials for organizations ranging from world-class research institutions and “unicorn” startups to global pharmaceutical companies. Early in her career at The Rockefeller University, Jessica supported a $500M capital campaign by drafting major gift proposals and scientific communications that helped secure contributions ranging from $10M to $100M.
At MedReviews, LLC she wrote nearly 100 continuing medical education grants for Fortune 500 pharma clients, with a fund rate of 90%. At GRAIL, a liquid biopsy company, she was the lead program manager on an academic-industry collaboration with Memorial Sloan Kettering that drove a billion-dollar financing round. As a Translational Medicine Lead at companies like Pfizer and Genentech, she has overseen operations on programs with budgets ranging from $50 million to $250 million. Jessica’s proposal development expertise is further grounded in the scientific training that she received at U.C. Berkeley and Lawrence Berkeley National Lab. She has extensive industry experience in several therapeutic areas, including oncology, gastroenterology, urology, rare disease, neurology, and cardiology.
